Ceiling Fan Options You Will Want to Put Up

At Home· Home Decor· Renovations

Ceiling Fans.  For years they were that ugly thing in a room that were almost guaranteed to be removed immediately upon starting any room makeover.  I get it, they are often an eye sore in a room but they are also extremely functional.  Luckily designers of ceilings fans have really upped their game in recent years, and I’ve been really impressed with the look of some options now.
With our Master Bedroom and closet makeover nearing an end, B has been asking me about picking a ceiling fan to install in our bedroom.  We also will need a replacement in our entry hall soon so I knew it was time to start looking for options we could agree on.
I decided to set out with a plan of sticking to no more than $350 for a ceiling fan and light combination.  It isn’t quite as important to have a light in the fan for the entry hall but I kept them consistent for this round up.  Here is what I came up with:
ceiling fans you'll want to put up
1. Hunter Anslee Low Profile Ceiling Fan |  2. Laurel Foundry Marcoux Ceiling Fan | 3. Warehouse of Tiffany Tibwald | 4. Wind River Estella Ceiling Fan | 5. Lianne Pendant Ceiling Fan | 6. Hunter Cranbrook Ceiling Fan | 7. Kichler Mediterranean Ceiling Fan | 8. Hunter Sentinal Ceiling Fan
While the styles vary, I love different things about each option.  For B and I, I really like options 1 and 8 the best because they are clean, simple and neutral.  We tend to gravitate toward a cooler color palette and these feel equal parts modern and rustic.
So what about you?  Are they a practical necessity, a great design feature for a room or too ugly no matter how useful they may be.  I’m curious what you think of if you have a favorite.  Leave a  comment and let me know!
Save for later.
