Hello friends!
Last week I shared with you that I’m finally following through with one of my 2020 goals. This big goal was rebranding Twig and White to Bethann Renee, my name. I give you a brief introduction into what is going to be happening and shared with you a quick sneak peek of the new look.
After giving the rebrand a lot of thought, I’ve decided somewhat reluctantly that while the name will change and the branded domain exists, I won’t actually be moving the website (at least for the time being).
As I enter into this next phase of the blog, I hate to alienate current readers by completely uprooting. I realize staying here also comes with some risk but at least for now, I’m staying here.
Over the next few weeks, I will be making several updates to the current website including updating the logo and incorporating other elements of the new branding. I shared with you the logo which isn’t much different from what’s currently here. This was intentional and below is a bit of an expanded view of the new identity, color palette and design elements.
The other big change, despite my personal fears, will be that you are going to be seeing a lot more of me. I spent a few days taking photos for the new website and plan to make this more of a priority.
This was a change I wanted to make a year ago and I put a lot of work into preparing for that transition but with everything that happened in 2020, the move ended up not making sense.
I’m super excited to revive that goal and actually see it happen!
As I’ve already shared, February 1st will be the official changeover and I’m really looking forward to that day! It’s the fourth birthday of this blog and what feels like the first day of a brand new chapter. I hope you’ll stick around to see all that I have planned!
