Maxi dresses have become one of my favorite summer looks that transition well from Spring all the way to Fall. They often provide the coverage I like while being comfortable and easy for whatever my day brings whether simply working in the shop, out running errands or meeting with clients.
I have been seeing Amazon pushing their apparel more and more and since I use Amazon for so much for my business and home, I decided to see what kind of maxi dresses I could find not really expecting to find much. To my surprise, I ended up finding a ton of options and many of them under $30. Thinking they were too good to be true, I did spend some time reading reviews and realized I need to be cautious of sizing and quality but less than $30? I had to round up a few for myself and share the rest with you.
ROMWE Women’s Bohemian Print Sleeveless Summer Beach Maxi Dress
I love this dress and would have ordered it in a heartbeat but was concerned about sizing. I have also noticed sizes continuing to sell out so I’m guessing others are loving it too. At $8.99 who could resist? This would be so pretty to wear to an outdoor bridal shower or wedding.
G2 Chic Women’s Paradise Printed Patterned Holiday Casual Floral Dress
I love a pretty golden yellow and actually have a couple of dresses in a similar color. What struck me about this dress is the detailing around the chest area. It looks like it would be super flattering without being too revealing. This dress is only $21.99!
Alternative Women’s Racerback Maxi Dress
I actually bought this dress a couple years ago and it’s been a favorite since. I have it in the heather gray shown but it’s also available in other colors. It’s casual and hugs my curves without being too tight or leaving me feeling self conscious. It has a racer style back and my favorite way to wear this dress is with a denim vest and scarf. This dress feels like you are in your pajamas! It’s also only $25.83!

If you are looking to add a little boho style to your wardrobe, this could be an inexpensive way to do it. This is one of the dresses I just purchased (mine is the sea green) but I was first drawn to this dress by this photo. Be sure to consider the correct size for your body as this dress does fit loose. I could have sized down a bit but I love how light and free the dress feels. It washes well and could be dressed up or down. It would also make a great cover up for the beach! This dress is $24.99
MakeMeChic Women’s Casual Loose Pocket Long Dress Short Sleeve Split Maxi Dress
This is another one of my recent purchases. Mine is black just like the photo and I love it. It’s very similar in style to the tie-dye version but it does have a deeper scoop in the back with the strap across the top. My dress does not have nearly as deep a scoop in the back compared to the other photos but it’s there. The fabric feels nice and isn’t super thin. It lays nice and the dress looks cute on. I also love that it comes in a lot of colors. It’s one of those dresses you’ll want in more than one color and at $22.99, you can afford it.

If B and I were headed back to the beach before September, I’d have this dress. While it looks like this could be worn as a dress, I thought it would make the prettiest beach cover up! I just love the colors and the detail down the front. It’s also only $19.99!

Isn’t this dress pretty? It might be my favorite! The only reason I didn’t order this dress was because I wasn’t sure of sizing. It actually looks prettier on the real people from the reviews and at only $19.99, I’m surprised is hasn’t sold out yet. The shape is simple but it flatters most body types. This would be such a pretty dress for vacation or a wedding!

If you love a more romantic look, then you might love this dress. It comes in a range of colors and it looks super comfortable! I could see layering a denim jacket and strappy metallic sandals for church and Sunday brunch. It’s also only $22.99!

If you like versatile dresses that can be dressed up or down, this could be a great option. The style of this dress could actually work for the office with the right accessories but it would look great for weekend too. This dress has been put on my wish list and for $22.99 I wont have to feel guilty about it.
Awesome21 Women’s Line Striped Sleeveless Tank Racerback Long Maxi Dresses
I couldn’t do a roundup of great clothing without including at least one striped piece. I love this dress and it too has been added to my wish list. Unlike more expensive striped maxi dresses I have seen, I like the style of this dress with the elastic waist and a more “bloused” top. When you have curves, this tends to be a more flattering shape. If you don’t love the shape, this dress is also available in other colors and styles.
