Progress is moving along at the beach house more quickly now. We expect the electrical to be done in the next 2-3 weeks. It was so exciting to be able to plug things in and turn lights on around the house this past weekend and it’s not even all done yet!
Now that the house is getting wired, B and I have been finalizing our plans for lighting both inside and out. It’s really dark around the outside of the house at night so I’ll be super excited to get some outdoor lighting installed ASAP!
With exterior lighting on my mind, I thought it would be fun to round up some favorites. Hopefully this inspires you if you are on the hunt for exterior lighting. I’m also hoping this helps B and I narrow down our favorites!

While we are leaning a bit modern with the design of the beach house, we also are trying to blend in some more traditional and even vintage elements that feel casual, comfortable and collected over time. While B wants something that has a nautical vibe, I’m leaning toward something that leans “coastal” in a more subtle way.
I think any of these options fits our needs and they are all around $100 or less! That’s super affordable on any budget and they look great too!
