If I’m being honest, I’ve been meaning to write this post for months. Back in July, I had big plans for a “relaunch” of this blog; a fresh start, more consistency, new ideas, but life, as it often does, had other plans.
Between work, projects, and the general noise of the world, I found myself pulled in too many directions. And if you’re someone who also has an ADHD brain like mine, you probably know what came next: overthinking. I kept telling myself I needed to come back perfectly, with a plan, a rhythm, the right photos, the right words, when really, I just needed to come back.
So here I am, showing up, imperfectly, but ready.
Lately, the world feels heavy and uncertain, and I’ve caught myself wanting to hibernate at home, to shut everything out for a while. But I’ve realized that maybe that’s not such a bad thing. Maybe this is exactly what I need: to lean into the quiet, to use what we already have, and to make our home feel like a true sanctuary again.
I’ve finally started making decisions on projects I’ve been dreaming about for years; small things that make our spaces feel more settled and meaningful. And in the process, I’ve felt a spark return. A reminder of why I started this blog in the first place: to inspire and encourage women to find beauty in their everyday lives, even when things feel uncertain.
So as I relaunch this space (softly and without perfection), I’m looking forward to sharing more: home projects, seasonal inspiration, little everyday moments, and ways to create warmth and beauty right where we are.
If you’ve been feeling a little lost or disconnected lately, I see you. You’re not alone. Let’s make our homes, and our lives, a little softer, a little calmer, and a little more beautiful, together.
Here’s to new beginnings… even if they take a few tries.
